Areiketsetse Le Bana
HIVSA identified a number of essential needs of children that could only be dealt with at a household level. These needs included access to child grants, addressing child abuse, birth and identification documents, accessing school subsidies and other social services. These needs are addressed through the use of HIVSA trained street guardian committees, appointed by the community.

There have been in excess of 19 000 beneficiaries since the inception of this truly amazing programme.
