Community Treatment Preparedness Programme (CTPP) Updates
Zivuse Uphile site up and running
We are able to say “hello and welcome to ZIVUSE UPHILE" . The site previously known as the ex-Salvation Army static site has received it’s official new name. We are proud to announce the launch of this facility that started testing in February. The aim is to develop this testing site into a male and couple friendly site and create a safe haven for men to visit with their partners and as fathers.
Information Sharing Day
As part of our plans to support Region D & G of Johannesburg more comprehensively in the future we decided to be creative in getting to know the people working in the facilities in Region D & G. We came up with the idea of getting all the facility managers into one room to share in a fun and casual way everything HIVSA is doing and everything that we are planning to do in their Region in the near future. Many facility staff attended on the day (May 7th) and we had lots of activities kept everyone bright and busy all day.
HCT and Social Mobilisation
As well as our ongoing HCT work and work with local CBOs we have a week long HCT campaign at the University of Johannesburg from 16th May to 20th May and will be Testing at Moses Maren High School as per Future Footprint programme request on 30th May.
